Sheldon Souray just can’t catch a break. He had surgery on his broken hand (he got hurt on January 30, 2010 in a game against the Calgary Flames) and it was assumed that he would be able to return to the lineup soon but it looks like he’s going to be out for the rest of the season.

The Edmonton Oilers defenceman is recovering from an infection in his hand that he got after the surgery. There aren’t many details about it but the infection is considered serious so I hope that everything turns out okay.
In the 37 games Souray has appeared in, he has amassed 4 goals and 9 assists.
